“We are in the same boat”

My paintings reflect Vulnerable Groups in Society. My art works are based on the following themes: bullying at school, child abuse, abandonment of child care and so on.

Many children feel they do not have a home and feel lonely. Often, they suffer by blaming themselves. They feel the limits for living. Ignoring the circumstances are followed up by committing suicides.

But it is not just children related problem.

Many Japanese don’t feel happy. Because Japanese people think if they are different but not the same it is not acceptable.

There is a need for diversity in our everyday life.

I think bulling and suicide will decreases by accepting diversity. Children watch adults everyday and are brought up by the examples of their environment.

We adult must make a relieved staying place for children. Small innumerable intention is necessary not indifference.

　　　　　”僕たちみんな同じ境遇だよ”

私は作品をつくることによって社会の中の弱者について少しでも理解を深めることができればと日々考えている。しばしば彼らは自分が生きる価値のない人間だと、自分を責め苦しんでいる。そして、この思いをうまく表現できずにいる。このような状況を無視することは,自殺者を増やすことになる。そして、それは子供たちだけでなく、大人も同じような境遇に喘いでいる人たちがいることがさらに問題である。日本にはお互いの違いを認め合えない(同調圧力)が存在する。私はいじめや自殺は多様性を受け入れることによって減少する可能性があると思う。子供たちは毎日大人を見てその環境をまねて成長する。私たち大人は、子供がほっとできる居場所を作らなければならない.無関心でない、子供に対する小さなたくさんの思いが必要である。これは弱者である大人に対しても同様であるが、私たち日本人は日々の生活に追われ他人の事まで思いやれないのが現実である。ただ、弱者が安心して暮らせない社会は強者にとっても暮らしやすい社会ではないだろう。
